A multi-purpose entertainment district, The O2 houses an indoor arena, cinema, bars, restaurants and a music club, indigO2. It always has a full programme of concerts, films and events running, and is a destination in its own right any night of the week.

Freshly restored after a devastating fire, the Cutty Sark was one of the fastest tea clippers in the 19th century and has been preserved as a museum ship. It is one of only three clippers ships in the world that has remained in its original construction.

The Thames Path is a fantastic walk through London which will last as long as you let it. It can take you from the Thames Barrier to Greenwich, on to the London Eye. Beyond that if your legs will let you, you can go on to Putney going right past County Hall and Battersea Power Station.

The Royal Observatory sits at the top of the hill in Greenwich Park. This historical building is the home of the prime meridian. It houses a collection of astronomical and navigational tools as part of the National Maritime Museum.

Greenwich Park is 183 acres and is the oldest enclosed Royal Park in London. It has 15 acres set aside as a sanctuary for deer, foxes and birds. The view from the top of the hill across London is one of the great sights in London on a sunny day. It is open for 6am and closes at dusk.

Battersea Park's Children's Zoo is a family-run business on the South side of the Thames. It's a great day out for all the family with animals, play areas, and plenty of open space.
