  2. The Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington is one of London's most beautiful concert spaces. Opened by Queen Victoria in 1871, the Hall was named in memory of her late husband, Prince Albert. The hall is best known for holding the Proms concerts since 1941, but also plays host to over 350 events every year, from rock and pop, to ballet and opera.
